Inside King's-Edgehill School

Cameron Croons a Classic

zoom_news1366950_1367407This week, I am pleased to introduce another new student to King's-Edgehill School, Cameron Stewart. Cameron has recently returned to his native Nova Scotia having lived and studied in Dubai for the past number of years. He is a senior, living in residence, and turning heads with his talent and outgoing personality. Cameron is passionate about music and theatre, and he is taking the rigorous IB SL music course, focusing on composition. He is a multi-instrumentalist and plans to further his studies in music to seek a career in performance. Here is his solo performance of The Beatles classic, Yesterday, recorded recently at our Terry Fox BBQ wind-up event.

Cameron adds these comments:
Music has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I can't imagine my life without music in it. It doesn't matter if I'm writing a song or even just listening to one of my favourite bands. Music will always be a part of my life. I want to travel the world and experience all kinds of music for all kinds of cultures. Music moves people and it can bring us together. Even at my darkest moments in life, music brought me back to the light again. I would be nowhere if music was not in my life.
