Inside King's-Edgehill School

Our Leaders Staying Connected

large_news1330261_1342361Like so many other facets of our School, the Captain's Council group is committed to continuing their journey together despite not being physically with one another. When asked if they wanted to continue our optional, bi-weekly meetings, it became clear that the students were determined to stay connected

This week Grade 12 Prefects and Captains, Katie Goddard and Grace Fillmore, facilitated a Zoom meeting with their peers from the comfort of their homes. While at first the new medium was a little uncomfortable, the group quickly settled back into some excellent discussion focussed on servant leadership. The group also took some time near the end of our meeting to discuss ways they can support one another and stay connected with their respective teams. This opportunity to share ideas, feelings, and perspectives was very insightful. Although we are unable to be on the fields or track with our teams right now, it is inspiring to hear our leaders reflect on ways they can continue to grow in their roles.
