Inside King's-Edgehill School

Swinging into Spring with a Tune or Two

zoom_news1341238_1348381As part of our Distance Learning Programme, and music related, I have required my music students to submit a sample of their practical performance via recordings. At our School, there are two young ladies who are inseparable. Meet Annika Zeggelaar (long blonde hair) & Anastasia Dewar (short brown hair). These two Grade 8 girls spend most of their days together and they're also in the same music class. The music classes are ensemble based, so I don't frequently get to hear their solo musical productivity. In these different times, I am getting an opportunity to do just that, so individuals are having to submit to me their solo performance work. While you take a moment to look at the photographs of these two Gals hanging out together, especially the pic of them on the swings, take a listen to their piano and singing performances. When you hear them, each speak to the demeanour of the individual and both are attractive. Kids and music: what could possibly be better?

Nearly half of our students are day students, travelling from all over the Annapolis Valley and Halifax areas, and King's-Edgehill provides transportation to most of them - get in touch and find out your child's transportation options.
