Just a few weeks earlier, our group of spunky and exuberant girls had been soundly defeated by the Griffins from Horton and it seemed that the district final could end in a similar result. Our girls had other plans though, and showed a never give up attitude, pushed their opponents to the limit, eventually losing the championship by just one goal, (1-2)!! Great job, girls! The cold toes and fingers were outnumbered only by the smiles and laughter as both teams dealt with the harsh game conditions. This game was a perfect example of the best parts of School Sport: 1\. Fun ✔️ 2\. Friendly-Competition ✔️✔️ 3\.
