I wanted to take a moment to thank those of you who sent me pictures of the Strawberry Roll. It made me so happy! Some of you had altered the recipe slightly which I absolutely loved! This gave me the idea to now share a very basic recipe with you for a (German) chocolate cake (Schokoladenkuchen). I chose this recipe because it is fast, easy, and requires only very basic ingredients. The flour shelf was completely empty at the store? Try quinoa flour or coconut flour! You don’t like milk? Use coconut or almond milk. However, I mainly chose this recipe because I want to see amazing and creative ideas from you on how to decorate this cake. The options are pretty much infinite.
