This year the International Committee will provide students with the opportunity to try a new dish and even teach their peers how to cook a favorite food from their country. This week we made crepes, a delicious food often served in France or Quebec as a meal or snack. Crepes can be sweet or savory.
The club decided to go for sweet and made delicious crepes stuffed with Nutella, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. Each student had the chance to mix, fry, flip and top their own treat (or two, or three).
Sign up by Friday for cooking club the following week. Cooking club will be held on either Monday or Tuesday every other week from 3:30-4:30pm in the cafeteria. Please let us know if you have any food preferences or restrictions and we will try to accommodate. Additionally, if you have a food suggestion, please let Ms. Folker know.
