A Christmas Tradition

A Christmas Tradition

zoom_news1387533_1387469Every year, as the first term draws to a close, our Deputy Headmaster, Mr. Faucher presents a fun and festive challenge to our School community.  It is his annual “Christmas/Holiday/Winter Scene/Warm Fuzzies” Anonymous Drawing Contest.  The rules are specific and include the drawing medium, paper size, originality, and absolute anonymity.  By the contest closing date, Mr. Faucher’s extra-large mailing envelope was filled with many creative, detailed, unsigned holiday originals.  Everyone was eager to find out which drawings would appeal to Mr. Faucher’s festive spirit and make his top three list.

Congratulations to our winners who were announced in our final Junior Assembly on Wednesday, December 16th:

3rd place:  Sabine Wellard (Grade 9)
2nd place:  Bristol Quinn (Grade 6)
3rd place:  Brin Lloyd (Grade 6)

Thanks to all students who submitted a holiday entry.  I know each drawing put a great smile on Mr. Faucher’s face and will remain part of his 2020 collection.

MerrChristmas to all!
