Atlantic Wrestling Championship

wrestling3.jpgSharon Estrada won GOLD at the recent Atlantic Wrestling Club Championships. She was assisted by Téa Racozzi who won SILVER and Mona Mohamed who won BRONZE.

Mona continues to wrestle with determination and grit and is continuously showing improvement. Téa lost a close match in the final second of one of her matches but is applying all that she knows. Her leadership is critical to the team's success.

Sharon was an offensive machine on the weekend and defeated her competition from Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Callum Lovelace, new to wrestling since

wrestling.jpgJanuary, continues to show improvement in all aspects of our sport. He secured another win over the weekend and more importantly lots of valuable experience.

These four will need to be at their best as the entire team of nine is preparing for the Regional High School Championships this coming weekend in Digby.

This will be followed by the Provincial Championships from March 2 - 3rd in East Hants.
