Inside King's-Edgehill School

Celebrating our Cultural Diversity

We hope everyone enjoyed our 2020 King’s-Edgehill Cultural Fair! Our students and staff had a wonderful time preparing for this special day, and we had a fun-filled afternoon enjoying activities in our Athletic Centre, viewing the informative display boards, playing an exciting trivia game and sampling delicious foods from all over the world. The activities in the gym included henna art, soccer games in German, origami, Spanish bingo, and a magical prizes game. Our students’ knowledge was tested in an international quiz show with the winning prize of a goody bag of snacks from Mexico, China, Korea, and Japan.

The food, as always, was delicious and it’s so exciting to see how proud the students are of their culinary creations. The wonderful flavours and smells make trying the variety of foods everyone’s favorite part of the Fair. Thank you to everyone for all their help, especially to Madison Mu and Gavin Liu, our International Committee Leaders, who did an excellent job of organizing this awesome event! Taewoo Kim and Nydia Liu were perfect choices to MC the variety show. Thank you to all our students, staff and teachers who helped to make this day run smoothly. It means a lot to have this day to celebrate who we are.

You’ll find countless opportunities to express your artistic interests at our School. The Arts make up one of the essential four pillars of a King’s-Edgehill School education.
