Long Pond Hockey Tournament

Posted by KES Blogging Team on Mar 14, 2019, 5:29:51 PM

We had a very successful Annual Long Pond Invitational Hockey Tournament at our Newport and District Rink in Brooklyn. Our Developmental Hockey Team emerged victorious with a win over Halifax Grammar School in the final. Peter MacGregor led the team with defensive rushes and leadership. Lane Latreille stepped up in goal and finished his career with the win and a heartfelt locker room speech to the younger players. The spirit of hockey was alive and well as our team played well together finishing the season with a 7-1 record.
