Prefect Training

This year’s Grade 12 student leaders sacrificed the final days of their summer to train for their Prefect role, and in the process, it became clear that our Prefect body this year is a very strong one.

We are trying out a new system this year where we have separated Prefects into House Captain Prefects and Executive Council Prefects. This allows each Prefect to have a more defined and specialized role in our School. Over the course of our training, the students had the opportunity to attend various workshops and events designed to aid them in their new leadership positions.

Prefects

This year’s Prefects have generated many wonderful ideas and have already set lots of plans in motion, including an amazing first fun-filled weekend of activities (despite the weather!). The training culminated in the students receiving their Prefect ties at a lovely barbeque at our Headmaster’s home.

There's always something exciting going on at King's-Edgehill School -- it's in the air. You can hear music in the halls, smell healthy meals cooking, see original artwork and performances and feel the energy of students who love to learn. Experience it for yourself! Plan your visit here.
