Inside King's-Edgehill School

This is That Q&A

Posted by KES Blogging Team on Jan 11, 2018 2:18:38 PM

In early December, Patrick LePoidevin's English 8 class was treated to a Skype lecture followed by a Q&A with a special guest. CBC producer Chris Kelly comes from a long history of radio and music production. Currently, Kelly records and produces the hit National show This is That, a news satire programme featuring comedians Peter Oldring and Pat Kelly. Chris just so happens to also be my brother-in- law, so he graciously joined our English class during the unit on satire. Prior to the skype meeting, the class split into groups and created their own This is That.
