Aria and Others Bare their "Human Hearts" - Revue #4

And those who you will teach it to
And those you learned it from
You are part
Part of the human heart

This lyrical excerpt is taken from a song called The Human Heart, from the Broadway musical, Once on This Island. I feel that it lends itself nicely to the KES motto of 'Dignity and Respect'. In this video clip, vocalist Aria MacDonald (Grade 12) is accompanied by some other background singers and the KES Dance Team. Together, they deliver a warm and heart-felt rendition of peaceful longing of good times. Softness and warmth in song and dance hold an important place and meaning in these stressful times, and I do hope that you will relish their skilful and passionate performance.

The choreography was designed by Allie Pape (Grade 10) and Sarah Bell (Grade 12 Head Girl).
