For the Week of November 16th – 22nd
Senior Girl - Abby McCarthy scored two goals in our 3-1 win against the Mount recently. She contributed to both sides of the puck and worked just as hard in the defensive zone as she did in the offensive zone. Her hard work and system awareness played a big role in our hockey success this weekend. Well done, Abby!!
Senior Boy - Patrick Browne - The boys' volleyball team travelled to Par-en-Bas for the Western Region semi-finals recently. While the team did not come away with the win, Patrick's composure and leadership kept the team energised through four very close sets. With both solid defense and unrelenting offense, he motivated his team by example and proved they would not go down without a fight. Well done, as always, Patrick!
For the Week of November 23rd – 29th
Senior Girl - Hidemi Sato is a veteran on the volleyball court. This self-motivated, determined, and hard-working athlete is continually working to perfect her skills every time she steps foot on the court. She is our number 1 libero who is always reliable, open to constructive criticism, smiles, gives 110% and continually asks questions to develop her positional play. We are very proud of Hidemi on and off the basketball court. Congratulations, Hidemi!
Senior Boy - Tanner MacLean played a great basketball game for KES in a 75-62 victory on the road versus Central Kings. Tanner led the team in points and rebounds with 14 and 11, respectively. He also displayed his strength and stamina logging the most minutes played with 36. The first-year player from PEI is a leader on and off the court and a welcome addition to the KES Senior Boys lineup.
