This morning we boarded the bus and drove to the Aquarium du Quebec. Students saw a wide variety of marine life and enjoyed the experience thoroughly. High on their wow list, were the touch tanks of starfish and sting rays, the wall of jellyfish, the polar bears, and the seals.

Next, lunch and free time at Les Galeries de la Capitale shopping centre and indoor amusement park, providing one final opportunity for retail therapy for students before leaving Quebec City.

After one final “merci”, we said goodbye to our guide extraordinaire Harold, thanking him for helping to make our stay such an enjoyable and rewarding one.

The drive to Edmundston, New Brunswick, went smoothly this afternoon. Upon arriving, the first stop was for supper, and there was something to suit everyone’s tastes at the extensive menu at Maple Leaf Queen’s Buffet.

After leaving the restaurant, it was a short trip to the hotel where we settled in for the evening. Students enjoyed some social time in the rooms or in the pool until bedtime.

It has been another wonderful day with our group. We will make an early start tomorrow as we continue the drive back to campus.

We plan to arrive at the athletic centre parking lot around 5 pm on Friday. We will stop at the Bedford Commons (outside the Walmart) around 4:30 pm. If there are any major changes to the schedule, we will make every effort to update this blog to keep you informed.
