Camryn, originally from South Africa, came to King’s-Edgehill in Grade 9 having never played rugby before. In just a few short years, however, she made a name for herself as one of the most skilled players in the province. Named to multiple age-grade provincial teams for both 15s and 7s, Camryn was most recently named to the U-18 Canada East Team which competed against USA East earlier this year in Ontario.   StFX’s women’s rugby coach, **Mike Cavanagh,** who has led his team to 6 national championships, was pleased with Camryn’s decision and commented, *“**We are very excited to have Camryn join the X-Women’s Rugby Program. Camryn is one of the top recruits in the country and will make an immediate impact on our program. I look forward to working with Camryn and helping her become the best rugby player she can be.”* Camryn will be registered for the Human Kinetics program at StFX and will follow in the footsteps of former KES alumnae **Jill Payne (2002), Emma Taylor (2010), Catherine Rutledge (2014), Abena Danquah (2014)**, and **Lucy Killacky (2015)** who all played for the X-Women. *We want every child to find an activity he or she can pursue with passion.
