This past weekend, Grade 12 Prefect and campus North Star, Katie Goddard and her horse Harley, won first place at the Eastern Canadian Eventing Championships held at Strathgartney, Prince Edward Island.
Katie has been riding for 13 years, and this was her first time competing in this event. Katie and Harley were also members of the Nova Scotia team which placed 4th overall at the competition. Despite being a contributing member of our Senior Girls' Soccer team, our Fine Arts Prefect, and a top student, Katie still found the time to train with her buddy Harley 6 days per week in preparation for this event. Congratulations to both Katie and Harley!
Our day students participate in the same activities as our boarding students, getting just as much out of their KES education. Take a peek inside a typical day with our downloadable photojournal, A Day in the Life of a King's-Edgehill School Student.
