Third time is a charm, or so they say. Perhaps there is some truth to that, since the third annual KES Cultural Fair was “…the best yet!” according to many faculty and students.
Certainly it was a great day for students from various cultures to step into the foreground and share with us all the wonders of their country's, traditions, festivals, history, and food, glorious food! Students were treated to a delightful variety show where several students sang songs of love for each other or their home. The advanced soccer ball handling skills of a group of Mexican students was a fantastic finale to the show. The talents of henna and calligraphy artists was enjoyed as well.
It is always a delight to see the pride in the faces of the students who are sharing and the interest in the faces of the students who are travelling for the afternoon. A job well done by all.
