Nov/12/2020 This Halloween dance was a truly exciting one! With the nice build up from the spirit week full of fun dress-down days, themes, and competitions, the atmosphere at School was perfect for the dance. With tons of spooky decorations and the amazing lights, thanks to **Mr. Smith**, the theme sure was spooktacular!  ![3-Nov-08-2020-02-20-16-28-AM](https://blog.kes.ns.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/3-Nov-08-2020-02-20-16-28-AM.png?width=400&name=3-Nov-08-2020-02-20-16-28-AM.png) The Halloween dance wouldn’t have been as great as it was without the amazing costumes. Whether it was a simple Hawaiian shirt, a two-person costume, or an intricate make-up design that took hours, everyone looked frightfully fantastic. The best costumes of the night go to **Nick Dyson’s **and **Brooke Lannon**’sspecial firefighter and Dalmatian combo – it is a good thing Nick went as a firefighter because he sure was setting the dance floor on fire!  ![1-Nov-08-2020-02-20-15-03-AM](https://blog.kes.ns.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/1-Nov-08-2020-02-20-15-03-AM.png?width=400&name=1-Nov-08-2020-02-20-15-03-AM.png)   For the first time in our time at King’s-Edgehill, the School dance was held in our wonderful AC facility, and it was a truly special moment to be the first dance held in the AC in a long time. The Halloween dance felt magical, not only because of the spells casted into the air, but also because it was the first dance that day students could attend since the COVID-19 pandemic.   ![4-2](https://blog.kes.ns.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/4-2.png?width=400&name=4-2.png)   Overall, the dance was successful! With a good turn out and a bunch of song requests from the days leading up, it sure fulfilled expectations and **Stephanie Choat **(School Dance Committee Prefect) and I hope everyone had a great time!
