King's-Edgehill School's new Student Marketing Team held their first meeting on Wednesday, February 7th. Their first task was to help spread the word and organize KES’ “Bring a Friend” to School Day on February 14th.
If you’re a KES interested in business as well as marketing and communications then you should consider joining the Student Marketing Team. They're still accepting members!
It’s a brand new team and it’s the perfect introduction to a career in marketing and communications.
For those unfamiliar with the role marketing has in business – think of it as effectively reaching the people who are most interested in what you are offering. It’s the process of developing materials that will resonate with the target market, a process, which takes time, research, and planning.
Students involved in the Student Marketing Team act as Ambassadors for KES. They learn what students and their families interested in attending KES need and want to know more about. They then learn how that translates to advertising, brochures, websites, and more.
Members also learn how messages and images can easily be manipulated and help to ensure our School is marketed in a refreshingly authentic way.
If the art of marketing sounds intriguing, and you are imaginative and enthusiastic to get the word out about our school while learning and practicing real marketing skills, please contact Karen Moore to learn more about the KES Student Marketing Team!
All day, every day KES Day Students show up ready to learn, play and lead. Find out every thing a Day Student is up to in our downloadable photojournal, A Day in the Life of a King's-Edgehill School Day Student.
