King’s-Edgehill School First Honour Roll

zoom_news1373645_1373960On Sunday, October 11th, the first KES academic report of the year was released online.  This report focused on the progress students made since the year began 5 weeks earlier.  While this report provided a general overview of students’ initial progress, the next report, which will go live on November 10th, will be a more comprehensive report including cumulative numerical marks, effort grades and comments from all subject teachers and coaches.

Following the release of each online report card, the Headmaster’s Honour Roll is posted.  While cumulative marks provide valuable feedback, the emphasis of the Honour Roll is solely on student effort.  Indeed, it is the individual effort that matters most, and those who are putting forth an excellent effort gain recognition.  Here’s how it works:  students who achieve a minimum of five “1” excellent effort grades (with no unsatisfactory “3” or “4” effort grades make the Honour Roll.  Those students who have achieved this exemplary standard will have their name included alphabetically on the list for their grade level (6-12). The Honour Roll is posted monthly and appears just outside Stanfield Dining Hall/McLellan Annex.  Congratulations to those students who achieved excellent standing in this first round of academic reporting!  Click here to view the lists.
