Inside King's-Edgehill School
For the past number of years, I have had talented students graduate and go on to study music at university. This year is no different, I am proud to report. Senior student, Max Cole has his sights set on studying jazz guitar next year. He has already been accepted into one programme and is waiting to receive a reply from another university in the days ahead.
Capable of playing all styles of music, Max has become a real a jazz enthusiast. His extensive vocabulary of chord voicings and his creative sense of improvisation have been a staple of the School Jazz Band for years now. Here is a recent recording of Max playing a classic jazz standard, Yardbird Suite. I know you will like it and readily endorse his plans.
