Recently, we finished learning about different speech writing techniques and types. While speeches are delivered by the presenter themselves (whether that be verbally or through sign), it is important to remember how a speech presents itself as a written page; to help students remember this, we compiled our speeches into a newspaper for others to read. Becoming an editor allowed them to be critical in a supportive manner, and they learned that even though the task may be complete, there is always room for improvement.
