Last Saturday, Ms. Pennington and I accompanied our Intermediate Yoga group to Halifax for a “Yoga Crawl”. The day started at Shanti Hot Yoga with a Power Flow class, where our students were introduced to a new asana to them—baby grasshopper!
From there, we stopped at Pete’s Frootique for smoothies. Mid-morning saw us attend an aerial silks class at “Elements of Kula” where we spent an hour flying and flipping upside down. This was a favourite among many of our students! A leisurely lunch at the Halifax Seaport Market was followed by a visit to Halifax Yoga where we ended the day with a relaxing yin/restorative class. It was certainly a day that was nourishing for the mind, body and spirt. Namaste!
