Inside King's-Edgehill School

How we stay in touch with parents around the world

The choice of sending your child to King’s-Edgehill School was one you took seriously, considering their future NS Boarding Schoolsand the all-around education they would receive. We want you to know that we value your commitment to the excellence of your child and we know that it may be difficult not seeing them every day. Here at KES, we have many ways for you to keep in touch and know what is going on with your child. Though our students come from all over the world, we value them as a community and want to keep you updated on how their lives are unfolding as they grow.

The first way you can keep up with what is going on with your child is by using our school calendar. We update it daily with activities, details about the faculty on duty each day, and more. Many of the links are clickable with additional information available on the listed activities.

On our website, under the MYKES tab, you have access to an array of resources with information on what your child is doing. There you will find personalized information regarding your child’s academics, as well as a many school resources.

One of the resources that we are proud of and many of our parents enjoy is the weekly newsletter from the Headmaster in which he speaks on various topics and issues. It includes a slideshow containing pictures of the week’s activities, and is a great way to get insight into what we truly value in our educators, staff, and students, and on KES overall. You can find past issues in our blog, which is another opportunity for you to find out what is going on at KES. We include information and updates on activities, programs, awards, and more.

One of the best ways we can communicate with you is through your child’s academic advisor, who can answer any academic questions you may have about your child. Regular access to our house parents is also available to parents of children who board with us. You can communicate with them on how your child is fairing outside of the classroom and any other questions related to your child’s well being and progress.

At KES, we understand that although miles may separate you from your child, you still long to know as much as you can about how they are doing and to know that you made the right decision in sending them to King’s-Edgehill School. You can be sure that your child is thriving as a part of our educational community and that we are molding them academically and fostering an environment for them to grow spiritually and emotionally. We can work together to make sure you stay informed on the daily schedule and activities of your child and have regular communications with our staff and educators - no matter where you are in the world.
