KES Opens Doors for “Bring a friend to school” Day

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to attend a private school? Do you have a friend that already attends King’s-Edgehill School? On Wednesday, February 14th we are once again opening our doors for “Bring a Friend to School Day.” This is your opportunity to meet the staff and current students of KES and find out why your friend loves it here (and why you will too)!

What makes KES such a great school? There are many things that make King’s-Edgehill School a great school including small class sizes, numerous award-winning athletic programmes, unique arts experiences, and a strong academic foundation.

What grades are at KES? KES is comprised of a Junior School (Grades 6-9) and a Senior School (Grades 10-12). Senior students also have the opportunity to pursue the highly regarded International Baccalaureate programme. Not to mention KES students are from more than 25 countries around the world, offering a diverse and enriched learning environment.

What opportunities are available to KES students? KES students have a wide range of activities to choose from including the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally as well as participate in the local community through volunteer activities. In short, we give our students the tools and experiences they need to be more.

If joining the close-knit KES family has always been of interest to you, February 14th is your opportunity to visit the school with a KES friend and see if we are the right fit for you!

The day will begin with a full School Assembly, attending classes with your friend, eating in the cafeteria and the opportunity to join your friend for sports activities in the afternoon. If your friend is a day student who rides the Valley bus or Chester or HRM shuttle -- you can ride to school with them. It's the complete KES school day experience!

We look forward to welcoming friends of our current KES students. If February 14th doesn't work for you, or you don't currently have a friend enrolled at KES, you can plan a visit on a day that works for you by clicking here. We hope to see you soon!
